Wellman, Iowa 52356

The Wellman City Council met in special session in the Council Chambers of the Wellman Municipal Building at 6:30pm. Mayor Ryan Miller called the meeting to order with the City Administrator, City Clerk and following Council Members: Richard Oldfield, Robert Goodrich, James Seward, Karri Fisher, and Robert Swartzendruber. Also present were three citizens.

The purpose of the meeting was to approve plat of surveys at the request of Royce Buckwalter. Two surveys were presented. He was in need to have the survey of his property south of Smith Creek to the city limits approved in order to close the sale on his home property that included this area. A second plat of survey was to correct a small triangle space to include property Buckwalter sold to Home Gas Inc. Oldfield moved to approve the plats, Goodrich seconded and all voted aye. The Mayor signed the plats.

A second property plat was presented for a division of property owned by Florence Dobson on Ginkgo Avenue north of the city limits. Oldfield moved to approve the plat, Seward seconded and all voted ay.

With no further business the meeting was adjourned at 6:36pm. The next regular City Council meeting will be Monday, November 5, 2007, 7:00pm in the Council Chambers of the Wellman Municipal Building.
