TENTATIVE AGENDA: - Item 1: Call to order and roll call
- Item 2: Consent agenda – approval of:

CONSULTANTS, REPORTS & REQUESTS:
- Item 3: Sheriff’s report
- Item 4 Resolution No. 09-01 setting mileage reimbursement rate for 2009
- Item 5: Resolution No. 09-02 to certify accounts to the County Treasurer to be collected in the same manner as property tax
- Item 6: Resolution No. 09-03 to establish regulatory no parking signs along 8th Avenue between Highway 22 and 13th Street and along the north side of 3rd Street just east of 8th Avenue
- Item 7: Resolution No 09-04 to amend a CDBG contract for the Parkside Activities Center (to obtain an additional $100,000 in grant funding from the State of Iowa)
- Item 8: Resolution No 09-05 to set the date for a public hearing to borrow up to $530,000 in revenue bonds at zero percent interest for the planning and design phase of the city-wide reverse osmosis system
- Item 9: Ordinance No 210 to establish a Snow Emergency ordinance in and for the City of Wellman, First Reading
NEW BUSINESS:
- Item 10: Discussion and action regarding annual City appointments
- Item 11: Discussion and action regarding IDNR wastewater inflow and infiltration concern (requiring property owner action to disconnect private property hook-ups into the sanitary sewer system in violation of City ordinance based upon a previous sanitary sewer smoke test that revealed infiltration into the sewer system)
- Item 12: Discussion regarding the City’s 5-year Capital Improvement Plan (this will be a brief discussion on the CIP to answer any questions Council members have prior to a more involved discussion at a later date)
- Item 13: Action to set a date for a budget work session
- Item 14: Public Forum (The public may speak on non-agenda items, however council may not consider or take action on any issue. The Council may choose to add an issue to a future agenda for consideration)
- Item 15: General administrative discussion and reports
- Item 16: Enter into closed session pursuant to Iowa Code section 21.5(1)(i) to evaluate the professional competency of an individual whose appointment, hiring, performance, or discharge is being considered when necessary to prevent needless and irreparable injury to that individual’s reputation and that individual requests a closed session.
