      Item  3.    Public Hearing to receive comments on the expanded Wellman

              Urban Renewal Area and on the proposed Urban Renewal Plan

              Amendment

A.   Open Public Hearing and receive comments

B.   Close Public Hearing

C.   Resolution No. 07-17 to declare necessity and establish an urban

Renewal area and approve urban renewal plan amendment for 2007

D.   Ordinance No. 190 to provide for the division of taxes levied on

Property in the 2007 addition to the urban renewal area/First Reading

       Item  4.  Public Forum

                  The public may speak on non-agenda items, however council may  

              not consider or take action on any issue. The Council may choose

              to add an issue to a future agenda for consideration.

 

 

ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS:

      Item  5.  Ordinance No. 189 to amend the code of Ordinances to add Chapter

              77, “Small Vehicle Regulation” to regulate small motorized vehicles

              3rd and final considerations

 

      Item  6.  Ordinance No. 191 to amend the Zoning Ordinance regarding

              permits and fees/First Reading

 

            Item  7.  Resolution No. 07-18 to establish certain employee wages

 

NEW BUSINESS:

       Item  8. Review animal licensing ordinance and recommendations for

              changes

     

      Item  9.   General administrative discussion and reports

     

      Item 10.  Enter into closed session pursuant to Iowa Code section 21.5(1)(c)

              to discuss strategy with counsel in matters that are presently in

              litigation or where litigation is imminent/possible

 

      Item 11.  Return to open session to adjourn meeting and open work session

 

      Item 12.  Work session to review City Administrator position, expectations,

              goals, tasks, etc.
