            Item  2:  Consent agenda – approval of:

PUBLIC HEARING: 

 

Time and place set for hearing and inspection of bids for the proposed Parkside Activity Center and Sunrise Childcare Project (public hearing to the proposed plans, specifications, form of contract, and estimate of cost for the Parkside Activities Center followed by bid opening).

                                                                                   

CONSULTANTS, REPORTS & REQUESTS:

           

            None

 

ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS:

            Item 3:  Ordinance No. 204 to amend the official zoning map of the City of Wellman for the property on the NW corner of 10th Avenue and 2nd Street from R-1 to C-1-B (Peripheral Business District Commercial) First Reading;

            Item 4: Resolution No. 08-22 approving and confirming plans, specifications, form of contract, and estimate of cost for the Parkside Activity Center and Sunrise Childcare Project;

            Item 5: Resolution No. 08-23 to approve a 28E with the Wellman Volunteer Fire Department for Fire services in and for the City of Wellman;

            Item 6: Resolution No. 08-24 to set a date for the public hearing regarding providing TIF incentives for the medical clinic;

                           

OLD BUSINESS:  None                 

 

NEW BUSINESS:

            Item  7:   Discussion and action as necessary to approve road repair work;

            Item  8:   Discussion and action as necessary to approve tornado warning siren system purchase;

            Item  9:  Discussion regarding City street parking concerns;

            Item 10:  Discussion and action as necessary to approve early payment of previously approved TIF incentives to Schwartz Construction;

            Item 11:  Nuisance abatement discussion;

            Item 12:   Public Forum (The public may speak on non-agenda items, however Council may not consider or take action on any issue. The Council may choose to add an issue to a future agenda for consideration).

            Item 13:  General administrative discussion and reports;

            Item 14:  Adjournment and move into work session;

            Item 15:  Work session to discuss sanitary sewer inflow and infiltratio’
