                Item  1:  Call to order and roll call.

            Item  2:  Consent agenda – approval of:

                           e.  Chat & Chew cigarette sales permit renewal

                           f.   Chat & Chew outdoor service event alcohol sales permit

                          

PUBLIC HEARING: 

            Item 3:  Public hearing on City entering into loan agreement not to exceed $160,000 for infrastructure improvements

            Item 4:  Public hearing on plans, specifications, and form of contract for 3rd Street water main and road surface replacement project – followed by bid opening.

                                                                                    

CONSULTANTS, REPORTS & REQUESTS:

            Item 5:  Wellman Ball Association update on State Babe Ruth Tournament

            Item 6:  Request from Royce Buckwalter for City to pay for drain tile

 

ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS:

            Item 7: Resolution No. 08-38 to authorize City Attorney to sign off on

                          litigation issue relative to 9th Avenue project subcontractor(s)

            Item 8: Resolution No. 08-39 to amend the contract with SG Construction

            Item 9: Resolution No. 08-40 to adopt FY 09 salaries and wages

            Item 10: Resolution No. 08-41 taking additional action to enter into loan agreement (for infrastructure loan)

                                      

OLD BUSINESS:

            Item 11:  Update on Activities Center construction and planned culvert work at North Park          

 

NEW BUSINESS:

            Item 12:  Discussion and action to select a bank to provide the City with the ability to accept credit / debit cards

            Item 13:  Selection of financial institution to provide loan in an amount not to exceed $160,000 for infrastructure-related projects (if necessary)

            Item 14:  Approval for City to provide a financial institution with a letter of intent to lock in interest rates

            Item 15:  Discussion of RFPs for engineering services for water project

            Item 16:  Authorize City Administrator to prepare franchise agreement

            Item 17:  Nuisance abatement discussion and action – pond property just west of 11th Street and Fairview

            Item 18:  Nuisance abatement discussion NW corner of 10th Avenue and 2nd Street

           

            Item 19: Public Forum (The public may speak on non-agenda items, however Council may not consider or take action on any issue. The Council may choose to add an issue to a future agenda for consideration).
