The City provides the following utility services: gas, water, sewer, and recycling.
GAS: $10 minimum and rates vary based on the actual cost of natural gas for the month.
WATER: $19.45 minimum for up to 1000 gallons and $5.95 for each additional 1000 gallons.
SEWER: $14.45 minimum for
Charges for water and sewer utilities outside city limits are 1/3 more.
RECYCLING and TRASH: $6.75-includes a curbside recycling unit. Garbage pickup is Thursday and should be at the curb by 7:00 am. Non-recyclable trash must be placed in Cox landfill bags which are available at City Hall or Freeman Foods. 13 gallon: 10/ $9.75, 30 gallon: 10/ $15.50. Maximum weight per filled bag is 30 pounds.
