NORTH PARK TRAIL EXTENSION OPEN
The new trail from the bandshell area to the Wellman Elementary School is now open. The cement trail was built using a REAP grant and Riverboat Foundation funds. This trail will provide better access to children walking to the school. Eventually Mid-Prairie plans to extend the trail onto their property with a connection to sidewalks that will be constructed along 6th Avenue to Highway 22. This should provide a much safer route for Wellman children to take to school.
