Skating Rink Grand Re-Opening

Saturday September 20th 6:30 pm

The City of Wellman recently received a grant to assist with improvements to the City owned skating rink. This grant, from the Washington County Riverboat Foundation, will greatly assist the City with costs associated with installing a maple skating floor, remodeling the restroom facilities, installing new carpet in the customer areas of the Center, and purchasing new skates.

The Skating Rink will re-open Saturday September 20th at 6:30 pm -- we look forward to seeing a lot of people there -- young or not-so-young will have a great time skating, playing video games, and just relaxing in the new Center.

The City of Wellman would like to thank the Washington County Riverboat Foundation and the Wellman Ball Association for their generous contributions to assist the City with these improvements!
