The City provides the following utility services: gas, water, sewer, and recycling.

Gas: $10 minimum and rates vary based on the actual cost of natural gas for the month.

Water: $31.45 minimum for up to 1000 gallons and $5.95 for each additional 1,000 gallons.

Sewer: $15.45 minimum for up to 1000 gallons and then 5.95 for each additional 1,000 gallons.

Charges for water and sewer utilities outside city limits are 1/3 more.

Recycling & Trash: $6.75-includes a curbside recycling unit. Garbage pickup is Thursday and should be at the curb by 7:00 am. Non-recyclable trash must be placed in Cox landfill bags which are available at City Hall, Hardware Hank, Casey’s, or Freeman Foods. 13 gallon: 10/ $10.75,  30 gallon: 10/ $16.50. Maximum weight per filled bag is 30 pounds.
