The City provides the following utility services: gas, water, sewer, and recycling.  New Customer Application Form:
Gas: $10 minimum and rates vary based on the actual cost of natural gas for the month. $200 deposit.

Water: $43.28 for the first 1,000 gallons and $.67 per 100 gallons after that.   $100 deposit.

Sewer: $23.58 for the first 1,000 gallons and $.67 per 100 gallons after that

Charges for water and sewer utilities outside city limits are 1/3 more.

Recycling & Trash: $6.75 per month-includes a curbside recycling unit. Garbage pickup is Thursday and should be at the curb by 7:00 am. Non-recyclable trash must be placed in Cox landfill bags which are available at City Hall, Casey’s, or Freeman Foods. 13 gallon: 10/ $10.75, 30 gallon: 10/ $16.50. Maximum weight per filled bag is 30 pounds.
